Kansas Jayhawks vs Lehigh Mountain Hawks Preview & Prediction
Kansas has stood at the top of the rankings almost all season and carries high hopes in the playoffs; with all 5 starters being draft worthy, anything less than a final four finish will be a letdown. Team leader Collins had a down year number wise, but is the 5th leading scorer in team history. Aldrich is big and can control the game with his size. Henry has been streaky, but that streak has been a hot one as of late. The bench is deep and fast led by Morris.
Lehigh is led by McCollum, who carries a great high school pedigree having been Gatorade player of the year as a senior. He can hit the three and moves well, picks up a few rebounds, and will hit most everything from the line. Hall and Buchberger are 3 point men who will make Kansas work on the defensive side along with surprise freshman Knutson. Lehigh isn’t bursting with talent and will rely on defense and outside shooting.
The odds makers have the Kansas -26 -point favorites.
Kansas will once again prove why they are the No. 1 seed with jumping out early and finishing with a dominating win.
