2009-2010 Wisconsin Milwaukee Season Preview

The Panthers had some up-and-down times last season, but came out of it with a winning record and the possibility that Ricky Franklin gained an extra year of eligibility if he made enough progress toward his degree this summer. Three starters return – four if Franklin is back – and that doesn’t include James Eayrs, a big man you wouldn’t expect to shoot the three. Eayrs started the last several games for the Panthers and did so well he made the league’s All-Newcomer team. The Panthers are one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the league, finishing third to Green Bay and Butler with 246 made. Unfortunately, the Panthers finished last in overall field-goal percentage at just under 40 percent.
