2009-2010 South Alabama Season Preview
In Ronnie Arrow’s JC pipeline, there’s never a shortage of second- or third-year seniors in Mobile. DeAndre Coleman, Brandon Davis and Domonic Tilford were named to the all-conference team last year, as the Jaguars notched their fourth consecutive season with at least 20 wins in 2008-09. But sixth-seeded South Alabama, with a top-20 standing in rebounding margin, was outrebounded (by 10) for the first time in 10 games in its 64-56 loss to top seed WKU in the conference championship. South Alabama has to rebuild now after losing all but one starter and seeing reserves C.J. Garner (4.7 ppg) and DeAndrae Ross (3.8 ppg) transfer.
