2009-2010 Davidson Season Preview
Selfishly, the college hoops world, outside of the Wildcats’ SoCon foes, wanted to see Stephen Curry return for his senior season. Although Curry’s decision propelled him to the NBA, coach Bob McKillop has a nucleus that should once again place the Wildcats in the thick of the league race. Steve Rossiter and Bryant Barr return as starters and Will Archambault started nine games a year ago while averaging 24.3 minutes overall Davidson will have quite a 3-point arsenal again as Barr and Archambault nailed 63 and 51, respectively. Rossiter and Ben Allison will pick up for the graduated Andrew Lovedale inside. Rossiter shot 50.3 percent from the floor and was the Wildcats’ second leading rebounder last season.
