2009-2010 James Madison Season Preview
James Madison crafted a 21-win season between a 35-point opening loss to Davidson and a 38-point loss to Old Dominion in the CoLlegeinsider.com Tournament. However, coach Matt Brady has the squad poised to do even more damage this season despite losing leading scorer Juwann James and forward Kyle Swanston. Julius Wells, Pierre Curtis and Devon Moore will form a strong triple threat as Brady’s nucleus. Wells is JMU’s leading returning 3-point shooter, and Curtis’ 99 assists led the Dukes. Moore (50.4 percent) and Curtis (50.0) were consistent shooters last season. Dazzmond Thornton and Andrey Semenov are consistent and good candidates for starting assignments. Both figured prominently a year ago.
