2009-2010 Drexel Season Preview
The Dragons shot a CAA-worst 37.2 percent from the floor last season but allowed only 39.2 percent and held 15 opponents to less than 40 percent, posting a 12-3 record in those games. Coach Bruiser Flint has a pair of senior posts in Evan Neisler and Kenny Tribbett who need to show marked improvement. Neisler shot only 39.6 percent, while Tribbett averaged 48.3 percent but saw only 13.8 minutes per game. Gerald Colds and Jamie Harris should start in the backcourt, but neither solidified himself as a 3-point shooter, with Harris appearing to be the more dependable ball handler. Leon Spencer came off the bench to lead Drexel in blocks while shooting 55 percent from the floor in 17 minutes per game.
