The Vikings enjoyed their greatest success in school history the past two years with consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Others naturally took notice, namely Washington State, which promptly hired coach Ken Bone to the Pac-10. Now it’s Tyler Geving’s turn. Bone’s lead assistant loses some star quaLity with graduations and departures, but also has enough firepower returning in double-figure scorers Dominic Waters and Phil Nelson to make another title run. The Vikings are woefully short in stature and will need to depend on their athleticism, not size, to get victories.
