The Pac-12 went 8-4 last week, and aside from Oregon losing to LSU on national television, and the Beavers falling to FCS Sacramento State, things pretty much turned out the way I expected.
However, as we move into Week 2, Arizona isn’t the only Pac-12 team playing in a marquee game this week, as Oregon State travels to No. 8 Wisconsin and Arizona State welcomes No. 21 Missouri to Tempe on ESPN.
There is a lot at stake for several teams this weekend, and dropping to 0-2 could prove the cou de gra for those who want to challenge for the first PAC-12 title or to go bowling this winter. Listed pointspreads are provided by BetOnline.com.

Arizona at #9 Oklahoma State – 8:00 PM ET on ESPN
The Cowboys look like an even better team than the one that blew out the Wildcats 36-10 in last year’s Alamo Bowl. Arizona, conversely, brings back just 10 starters from a team that lost its last five games of the 2010 campaign after a 7-1 start. Last year’s meeting was the first since 1942 and Oklahoma State is 4-3 all-time against Arizona and has won five of its last six games against Pac-12 teams. Since 2008, Arizona is 10-2 overall in September, but just 2-2 on the road. Arizona will play well and prove it can play with just about anyone, but Oklahoma State pulls away late, and wins 45-31.
Prediction: Oklahoma State by 14 – Bet Now
Odds: Oklahoma State: -13.5 – Arizona: +13.5 – Over/Under: 66

#21 Missouri at Arizona State – 10:30 PM ET on ESPN
Both teams come into Friday’s contest with a ton of injuries, but the Tigers are more recent. The Sun Devils will hang on as long as quarterback Brock Osweiler can go through a game without cramping, and linebacker Vontaze Burfict should be able to keep Mizzou’s damage to a minimum. With that being said I expect ASU to win this one 24-17.
Prediction: Arizona State by 3 – Bet Now
Odds: Arizona State: -9 – Missouri: +9 – Over/Under: 52.5

Oregon State @ #11 Wisconsin – 12:00 PM ET on ESPN
Just a week after losing to the FCS Sacramento State Hornets, Oregon State must now head to No. 11 Wisconsin who pummeled UNLV last week. And that could be big problems for OSU. I expect the Badgers’ Russell Wilson to have a career day throwing the football against a suspect Beavers’ defense who gave up 296 passing yards last weekend. Look for Wisconsin to win this one big, 35-20.
Prediction: Wisconsin by 15 – Bet Now
Odds: Wisconsin: -20 – Oregon State: +20 – Over/Under: 57

California @ Colorado – 3:30 PM
This could go either way, and just might be the upset special of Week 2. The Golden Bears look better on the clipboard and the they embarrassed the Buffaloes last year in Berkeley, routing them 52-7. However, his is just exactly the type of game Cal has blown in the past. Nevertheless, I expect this game to start out sloppy on both sides, but the G-Bears finally gets it going and wins by a touchdown, 21-14.
Prediction: California by 7 – Bet Now
Odds: California: -6.5 – Colorado: +6.5 – Over/Under: 48.5

Hawaii @ Washington – 3:30 PM
The Warriors looked like giants against Colorado in Week 1, completley shutting down their running game while Hawaii quarterback Bryant Moniz solidified his candidacy for a Heisman Trophy. The Huskies really need this win, and they will need to draw on the home crowd and learn from last weekend’s mistakes versus Eastern Washington. Unfortunately Hawaii wins 31-17 and is then 2-0 against Pac 12 teams.
Prediction: Hawaii by 14 – Bet Now
Odds: Hawaii: +6 – Washington: -6 – Over/Under: 51.5

#7 Stanford @ Duke – 3:30 PM ET on ESPNU
One thing I can predict for sure in this game is that Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is likely to sit out the fourth quarter after putting up Heisman-worthy numbers after a solid three quarters. The Blue Devils on the other hand, already lost to Richmond, an FCS powerhouse last week. Do I need to say anything else? Stanford probably could win by twice as much, but they will sideline just about every starter late in this game, winning 45-6.
Prediction: Stanford by 39 – Bet Now
Odds: Stanford: -20.5 – Duke: +20.5 – Over/Under: 59

Nevada @ #3 Oregon – 3:30 PM ET
It seems likely the Ducks won’t be at their best on either side of the ball again. They will likely get off to a slow start and not really raise the roof until the fourth quarter. However, when they do, I look for the Ducks to take out their aggression from last week’s humiliating loss to LSU. If the Ducks can stay injury free, you can look for them to win big, 42-21.
Prediction: Oregon by 21 – Bet Now
Odds: Oregon: -26.5 – Nevada: +26.5 – Over/Under: 63.5

UNLV @ Washington State – 5:00 PM ET
UNLV doesn’t play great, and it showed during last week’s game against Wisconsin, who by the way are far better than WSU. Still, the he Cougs improve to 2-0 — just four wins away from bowl eligibility — as backup quarterback Marshall Lobbestael does a solid job replacing Jeff Tuel. Wazzou wins 24-21.
Prediction: Washington State by 3 – Bet Now
Odds: Washington State: -14 – UNLV: +14 – Over/Under: 55.5

Utah @ #25 USC – 7:30 PM ET
This could be the best PAC-12 matchup of the week, and could likely be upset special No. 2. Utah is going to come in hungry and ready to prove that they will be a PAC-12 force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, the Trojans who looked rather pitiful against Minnesota last weekend, will get a window of opportunity as quarterback Matt Barkley will have a chance to redeem himself against a questionable Utah secondary. While USC can’t win the conference outright, they will want to go undefeated while spoiling everyone else’s season. But look for Utah to announce itself to the Pac-12 with a 27-25 win.
Prediction: Utah by 2 – Bet Now
Odds: Utah: +9 – USC: -9 – Over/Under: 52

San Jose State @ UCLA – 10:00 PM ET
This would be a good opportunity for UCLA to get back on the rails early in the season after its loss to Houston in Week 1. However, it won’t be a cake walk even if quarterback Kevin Prince is cleared to play. Either way they still play sloppy on both sides of the ball, but find a way to eke out a 16-13 win, keeping Rick Neuheisal on the sideline for at least one more game.
Prediction: UCLA by 3 – Bet Now
Odds: UCLA: -21 – San Jose State: +21 – Over/Under: 49
