2010-2011 Eastern Illinois Season Preview

Eastern Illinois hopes to pick up where it left off last March, with a seven-game winning streak to close out the regular season – a school record since joining Division 1. Eastern Illinois finished in a three-way tie for third place in the Ohio Valley and played host to a first-round conference tournament game, also marking back-to-back conference tournament appearances for the Panthers. Senior guard Tyler Laser is back and is the team’s leading scorer at nearly 14 points per game. He’s also one of the league’s best shooters and hit a little more than 40 percent of his 3-point shots.
