2010-2011 Niagara Season Preview

Joe Mihalich, now heading into his 12th season and easily the MAAC coaching dean, never fails to field a competitive team, even when it appears he might need to rebuild. He has had only one Losing season. It won’t be easy to replace four senior starters, but the Purple Eagles boast a standout point guard in Anthony Nelson and a terrific athlete in Kashief Edwards, who figures to slide into the starting lineup. If a few of the five freshmen are ready to contribute, Niagara still should have enough to be a factor in the top half of the standings.
