Another program with a lot of new faces, the Bobcats need a few of them to replicate the defensive identity they forged last year – that and taking care of the baLL kept them in the hunt. Bobby Howard and Erik Rush are solid, dependable scorers, and Danny PiepoLi needs to step into a more productive role. Running the show will faLL to JC import Rod Singleton, a pure point guard who can score when necessary and is the jewel of MSU’s recruiting class. Four 6-7 newcomers shouLd improve the sub-standard rebounding.
